I am quite keen on the "gothic western" - think Deadwood, and The Proposition wasn't at all bad, so I had high hopes and also high expectations - and I was happily impressed - it has the pin drop tension of last years Assassination of Jessie James.<br>Lucky Country is well tight and dramatic with great performances, in a dark setting, it twists the landscapes colours to mirror the internal tensions , well worth the price of admission - and definitely one to see at the cinema.
